Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in New South Wales invites applications for a Permanent Part Time Community Support Worker (Driver) in Tenterfield. You will provide door-to-door transport and in-home support to help clients live independently and safely at home.

We value reliability, compassionate communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code and WWCC are required, with training and development

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Sound time management and organisational skills
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

The Community Support Worker’s primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service. The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.

What We Need From You

• Willingness to obtain pre employment checks including, passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs
