Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is offering a permanent part-time Community Support Worker (Driver) position in Broken Hill, NSW. The role focuses on door-to-door transport to help customers stay in their own homes with affordable, caring service delivered with integrity.

You will be part of Kirinari Community Transport, aiding mobility and independence while adhering to pre-employment checks, First Aid/CPR requirements and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Excellent communication skills with compassion and patience.
• Ability to work in a team or independently with responsibility.
• Sound time management and organisational skills.
• Willingness to use technology such as smartphones, tablets and computer programs.

We have Permanent Part Time opportunities in Broken Hill, New South Wales for Community Support Worker (Driver) to join our dynamic team.

Kirinari Community Transport provides transportation solutions that enhance the mobility and independence of individuals within our community.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The Community Support Worker's primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service. The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.

What we need from you:

• Willingness to obtain pre employment checks including, passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs
