Kirinari Community Services in Wentworth, NSW is seeking a Permanent Part Time Community Support Worker (Driver) to join our team, providing safe, compassionate door-to-door transport to help clients remain living independently at home.

The role requires pre-employment checks, First Aid/ CPR, a good driving record, and strong communication with customers, families and staff. You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and health-and-wellbeing initiatives.

Formación

• We require pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication and compassionate, patient approach
• Ability to work in a team and independently with some responsibility
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets and computer programs

What your day-to-day will look like:

The Community Support Worker’s primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service. The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.

What we need from you:

• Willingness to obtain pre-employment checks including, passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs
