Job summary

Kirinari Community Services Ltd in Lithgow, NSW, is hiring a Full-Time Community Support Worker (Driver) to provide door-to-door transport and support for the local community. This role aims to help customers stay independent at home through safe, compassionate transport services.

You will join a team that emphasises upskilling, leadership guidance, and strong employee wellbeing. Prior driving and a willingness to complete checks are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position.
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule.
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The Community Support Workers' primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service. The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.

What we need from you:
