Job summary

Kirinari Community Transport is recruiting a Permanent Part Time Community Support Worker (Driver) in Tenterfield, NSW. The role focuses on assisting customers to stay independent at home through reliable, compassionate door-to-door transport.

The successful candidate will meet pre-employment checks, hold a passenger transport licence code, have First Aid/CPR, and demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills. Opportunities to upskill and grow within the organisation are offered.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment checks including passenger transport licence code, NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC
• Current First Aid & CPR qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills with compassion and patience

We have Permanent Part Time opportunities in Tenterfield, New South Wales for Community Support Worker (Driver) to join our dynamic team.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The Community Support Worker’s primary responsibility is to assist customers and the disadvantaged to remain living longer in their own homes by providing a door-to-door transport service. The transport service being, affordable, caring, and reliable and delivered with compassion and integrity.

What we need from you:

• Willingness to obtain pre employment checks including, passenger transport licence code, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC.
• Current First Aid & CPR Qualifications
• Proven safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be compassionate and patient.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, whilst enjoying a degree of responsibility in your position
• Sound time management and organisational skills allowing you to run on time and follow a designated schedule
• Ability and willingness to use technology such as smart phones, electronic tablets and computer programs
