Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in NSW is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist participants in community participation and day programs. You will support shopping, meals, art activities and daily living skills, travelling to communities and supporting independence with a person-centred approach.

The role emphasises building confidence and community connections, offering meaningful work with opportunities to grow within a supportive team and a growing organisation across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in community-based disability support.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Willingness and ability to undertake community travel.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (where applicable).
• Proficient written and spoken English.

As a Disability Support Worker in our Community Participation and Day Programs team, you'll help customers:

• Participate in shopping and community activities

• Support choice and control over everyday decisions
