Job summary

Kirinari Community Transport in Hobart, Tasmania is hiring a Care Partner-Transport full-time to coordinate drivers and vehicles for safe, reliable transport. You may also drive customers to personal, community and social activities, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a current Australian Driver's Licence, willingness to obtain a passenger transport licence code, First Aid/CPR, NDIS orientation, and strong planning, organisation, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a passenger transport licence code.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’.
• Experience in administration management, scheduling and/or planning.
• Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Commitment to the care and protection of regional service users.

We have a Full-Time opportunity in Hobart, Tasmania for a Care Partner-Transport to join our dynamic team.

Kirinari Community Transport provides safe, comfortable, and affordable transport for the frail aged, younger people with a disability, their carers, and the transport disadvantaged. TNSW defines transport disadvantaged as being affected by specific circumstances that leave people with limited or no access to private transport and difficulty in accessing conventional transport. It also recognises that people living in isolated and remote communities are more likely to be part of this group.

What your day-to-day will look like:

The primary objective of the Care Partner Transport is to schedule drivers and vehicles to provide safe, efficient transport services, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service. You may also drive customers so they can get to personal, community and social activities.

What we needs from you:

• Willingness to obtain a passenger transport licence code
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
• Experience in administration management, scheduling and/or planning.
• Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• A demonstrated commitment to the care and protection of regional service users.
