Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and a genuine interest in empowering people with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently while respecting family guidance and confidentiality.
• Experience in mental health, personal care, community access and daily living activities.
• Knowledge of restrictive practices and safeguarding principles.
• Current checks and a relevant disability sector qualification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate care to participants.
• Support clients with daily living activities and community access.
• Work within defined guidelines, exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with personal care and manage own schedule with minimal supervision.
• Record keeping and documentation as part of client support.
