Job summary

Claro Disability Services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our community programs in Sydney. You will provide person-centered support to clients with complex needs, including mobility assistance, daily tasks, and community access.

Qualifications

• What you'll do: Tailored to each client as required.
• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision‑making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
