Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking an empathetic Home Care - Support Worker to assist veterans and seniors in their own homes across NSW. You will help with personal care, provide respite support, and keep clients active in the community.

Successful candidates will follow individualized care plans, communicate effectively with clients and team, and maintain a compassionate approach while working in a flexible casual environment with salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Ability to follow care plans and deliver personal care.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one).
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to get one).
• Experience in aged care or disability support.

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

• A caring nature – genuinely passionate about helping people
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
• Good communication skills with the ability chat and listen to clients and team members

• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured car

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
