Job summary

Windgap Foundation in Banksmeadow, NSW, is expanding its community support team and seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker. This role involves direct support to participants across Windgap's group accommodation sites, driving meaningful activity, safety, and wellbeing in everyday life.

Mandatory requirements include an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a current First Aid Certificate, a valid driver's licence and flexibility to work across shifts.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance is mandatory.
• Current First Aid Certificate required.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel across sites.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts.
• Experience in disability support is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are partnering with the Windgap Foundation, a not-for-profit provider of disability support services based in Banksmeadow (NSW) to appoint to the role of Community Support Worker.

For over 70 years, theWindgap Foundationhas been dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with an intellectual disability. Windgap prides themselves on the quality and range of activities which support their participants, working towards their mission "to improve the quality of life of people with an intellectual disability by supporting them in reaching their full potential and raising community awareness as to their needs and aspirations"

Due to recent growth and expansion of the community support team, we are looking for experienced, passionate and caring individuals to join the team. These opportunities are hands on, challenging and rewarding.

Windgap's head office is based in Banksmeadow, NSW and travel across Windgap's group accommodation sites is a requirement of the role.
