Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Tamworth region, with caseloads in homes, schools and outreach settings. You’ll work with individuals from early intervention through adulthood to improve communication, feeding, and participation.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, receive weekly clinical supervision, and have access to tailored training and career pathways across Ability Action Australia & MedHealth.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Driver's licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop participant-centred goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience, interests and goals.
