Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) invites applications for a Community Awareness Program Coordinator to lead education initiatives across the Gold Coast. The role focuses on delivering public safety programs, engaging schools and communities, and guiding presenters to ensure high-quality delivery.

You will monitor outcomes, maintain records, and drive improvements, with a flexible hybrid work setup and opportunities for professional growth within a respected life-saving organisation.

Qualifications

• Must have Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain before commencement.
• Must hold Queensland Driver Licence.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience engaging with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise.
• Experience coordinating programs, projects, events, or community-based initiatives.
• Experience with reporting and administration using MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver community awareness and public safety education programs across the Gold Coast region.
• Develop relationships with schools, community organisations, volunteers, and stakeholders.
• Lead and support Community Awareness Presenters to ensure high-quality program delivery.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on program outcomes and impact.
• Maintain records, schedules, resources, and operational reporting.
• Ensure activities comply with policy, risk management and safeguarding standards.
• Contribute to program improvements, initiatives and funding opportunities.
• Promote inclusive practices aligned with SLSQ values.
