Job summary

Queensland Rugby Football League – Rockhampton QLD is seeking a Club Support Coordinator to strengthen community rugby league by supporting leagues, clubs, schools and volunteers. You’ll help clubs improve governance, planning and game day delivery while promoting an inclusive, safe environment for players of all ages.

This permanent full‑time role offers annual leave and hybrid work. Applicants must hold a Working with Children Check and be prepared for probity checks and travel across Central

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community sport, club development, or a similar operational support role.
• Experience within sporting or not-for-profit environments is advantageous.
• Strong ability to engage volunteers and clubs in planning and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build capacity in leagues, clubs, schools and communities.
• Provide operational support, guidance and resources for club capability and game-day delivery.
• Assist clubs with strategic/operational planning, facility development and alignment with strategies.
• Review and monitor Club Health Checks and address issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support community events, participation programs and development initiatives.
