Job summary

Ipswich Girls' Grammar School including Ipswich Junior Grammar School is seeking a passionate Community Relations Manager to strengthen connections with alumni, community groups and sponsors. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, you will lead alumni engagement, partnerships and fundraising initiatives to support the School’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with alumni networks and stakeholders, coordinating reunions and events,

Qualifications

  • Experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, community engagement or fundraising.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating events, programs or community initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems or stakeholder databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, professional and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; TASS experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, Old Girls Association, Parents & Friends Association, sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Grow and engage the school’s alumni network through targeted programs, events and communications.
  • Coordinate reunions, networking events and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Support fundraising and philanthropy programs, including annual giving and special projects.
  • Maintain stakeholder and donor databases, report engagement outcomes and ensure data integrity.
  • Contribute to the school’s reputation and presence within the Greater Ipswich community.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and relationship-focused Community Relations Manager to strengthen connections with our alumni, community groups, sponsors and supporters. ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, fundraising or a similar field.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
