Job summary

Newcastle & Hunter Community Health is seeking a Community Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. You will visit clients at home, providing personalised continuity of care while building strong relationships to understand each client’s individual needs and goals.

You’ll work autonomously in the field, supported by a Clinical Care Manager and regular team meetings. You will have a current AHPRA registration as an RN, a valid Australian driver's license, and a first aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Australian unrestricted driver’s license
• Current first aid certificate
• Smart phone and internet access
• Two contactable manager referees
• Confident working in clients’ homes independently
• Community, aged care, DVA or NDIS experience preferred
• Fully maintained company car with fuel card for full-time staff
• Travel time between clients is paid
• No night shift, no rotating roster, no Christmas in a facility
• E-learning and face-to-face education relevant to your role
• Monthly and annual recognition by peers, clients and manager
• Part-time option: 1.01 per work kilometre reimbursement when using own car

Provide personalised, continuity-of-care while making a genuine difference in the lives of the people you support, visiting them in their home. You'll work autonomously in the field, but you're backed by a supportive team, weekly RN handover, regular team meetings, and a Clinical Care Manager with hands-on clinical experience.
