Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver home-based clinical care to veterans and seniors in Dubbo and surrounding areas.

You will provide person-centred care, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families and health professionals to support independence at home.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and Australian Working Rights.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Police Check or NDIS check required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care in the home environment to help clients stay at home and connected to their community.
• Provide person-centred care, recognising and supporting individual goals and preferences.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation of care.
• Organise case conferences and maintain open communication with clients, families, carers and authorised representatives.
• Prioritise client needs in collaboration with other health professionals.

About You:

• You demonstrate compassion, empathy and advocacy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making
• Ability to work efficiently by optimising the use of technology within your role as well as prioritising your time effectively across your caseload
• Current AHPRA registration and Australian Working Rights
• Current valid driver's license and a licensed, comprehensively insured and road worthy motor vehicle

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
