Valens Care Pty Ltd is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver community-based services across Ipswich and Toowoomba. You will provide functional, evidence-based OT assessments and supports in clients’ homes, with a focus on independence and quality of life.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and mentoring for new graduates. Expect a schedule with time for assessments, documentation and meaningful client interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be an occupational therapist with registration and current status in Australia.
• Ability to work compassionately in community settings.
• Demonstrated reliability and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home safety and mobility assessments.
• Prescribe equipment and recommend home modifications.
• Support falls prevention and independence initiatives.
• Prepare reports and documentation.
• Liaise with families, care teams and coordinators.
