Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Baulkham Hills and surrounding areas. Roles are available Full time or Part time.

The role focuses on home and community-based assessments, client-centred goal setting, and collaboration with families and coordinators to deliver tailored care. You will identify assistive technologies and support independence, with flexible hours to suit lifestyle.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to work independently in community settings.
• Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional assessments with participants in their homes and community environments.
• Set meaningful, person-centred goals informed by real life routines and support needs.
• Provide recommendations for environmental modifications across home, school and work settings.
• Identify and prescribe appropriate Assistive Technology to support independence.
• Collaborate with families, support coordinators and the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery.
