Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Liverpool-based team, serving participants in Liverpool and surrounding areas. Roles can be full-time or part-time, with a focus on in-home and community settings.

You will complete functional assessments, set person-centred goals, and recommend environmental modifications. Collaboration with families and support coordinators is essential to ensure smooth service delivery and ongoing participant progress.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven ability to work independently in a community setting.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional assessments with participants in their homes and community environments.
• Set meaningful, person-centred goals informed by real life routines and support needs.
• Provide recommendations for environmental modifications across home, school and work settings.
• Identify and prescribe appropriate Assistive Technology to support independence.
• Collaborate with families, support coordinators and the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery.
