Job summary

Henderson Healthcare is recruiting Remote Area Nurses to work across remote SA communities in FIFO rotations.

Earn an all-inclusive hourly rate from 98.44 AUD to 109.46 AUD, with travel and secure accommodation provided. Clinics are paired with RFDS retrievals and multiple locations such as Mimli and Amata. Fortnightly pay on Thursdays; opportunity to support Aboriginal Health and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• SA WWCC and immunisation certificate are required.
• Experience in acute medicine and A&E is important.
• Diverse clinical experience desirable (paediatrics, mental health, men’s and women’s health).

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline nursing care in remote clinics.
• Collaborate with RFDS on patient retrievals.
• Work across multiple clinics with FIFO rotations and 3 Nurse post coverage.

On the lookout for Remote Area Nurses who are passionate about Aboriginal Health, working across some of South Australia's most remote health services in the APY lands.

Overview

• From $98.44 per hour, up to $109.46 ph for continuous employment
• Single and secure accommodation provided
• Travel included within Australia, and NZ, with 1 night stay in Alice Springs
• Opportunity to work with a Health Service looking to retain Nurses throughout the year
• All clinics are a 3 Nurse post
• Recall, Nurses are always accompanied by a driver and have the option for a 2nd Nurse depending on the recall
• Fortnightly pay, Thursday morning

About You

• SA WWCC
• Nationally Accredited immunisation certificate
• Background in clinical acute medicine and A&E is important

• Confident and comfortable providing front line care, dealing with acutely unwell patients in remote, isolated communties. Working closely with RFDS on retrievals.
