Job summary

Mercy Health in Geelong seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide complex home nursing care, develop care plans, and continually assess client needs to promote independent living at home.

You will supervise Enrolled Nurses and Home Care Workers, ensuring high standards of care. Flexible hours and a dedicated care team support your daily workload.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the home care and/or aged care sectors would be beneficial, but is not essential.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex nursing care to meet individual needs while supporting independence at home.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans; assess, review and evaluate consumer care regularly.
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Home Care Workers as required.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
• First Aid Certificate that includes CPR.
• Driver Licence.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination.
