Job summary

City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE) is seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to lead Enfield Library and support a dedicated team in delivering welcoming, inclusive services. This is a permanent full-time position with responsibilities spanning staff leadership, operations coordination and customer experience delivery.

The role requires a Library & Information Management degree or equivalent experience, plus a Working with Children Check and Child Safe Environments certification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Library and Information Management or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Working with Children Check and Child Safe Environments certification are required.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff, volunteers or teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational priorities, rosters, projects and resources to ensure consistent library services.
• Lead and coach Library Officers, Home Library Officer, staff and volunteers to deliver welcoming, inclusive customer service.
• Oversee library facilities, meeting rooms and contractor activity to maintain safe, accessible spaces.
• Provide guidance and escalation support for complex customer matters while promoting respectful interactions.
