City of Kingston is seeking an experienced Community Strengthening Coordinator to lead a team, oversee operations and strengthen community connections across Patterson Lakes and Chelsea Community Centres.

This full-time, on-site role requires building relationships with staff, volunteers and local partners, planning programs and events, and ensuring welcoming, accessible spaces while managing facilities and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of community development and neighbourhood hubs.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing facilities, service delivery and budgets.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems.
• Qualifications or significant experience in community services or local government.
