Job summary

Runway East in Brighton is seeking a hands-on Community Associate to blend hospitality with operations and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will be out-and-about, engaging with members, maintaining high standards, and building relationships across the building.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm with occasional late finishes for events. Prior hospitality/front-of-house experience helps you thrive in a busy, people-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, capable of physical tasks in a busy space.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with members and guests.
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritise multiple demands.
• Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving.
• Collaborative across site teams and events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cleaning and safety checks to keep spaces pristine.
• Be the go-to person for members, resolving issues quickly.
• Coordinate with team and stakeholders when things go wrong.
• Deliver member events and bring energy to activities.
• Work with Brighton, London, and other-site teams to share best practices.
