Job summary

Metro North Hospital & Health Service is seeking an Allied Health support role to assist Audiologists in delivering community hearing screening across Metro North locations. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to child and family health outcomes.

The role focuses on education, records, infection control, and administrative tasks, with opportunities to develop resources under supervision. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide basic education to parents and groups.
• Assist with patient health records according to guidelines.
• Follow Infection Control guidelines including cleaning of equipment.
• Undertake administrative duties for the Community Hearing Screening Service.
• Assist in developing information resources under clinician guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic education on topics to parents, groups of patients and staff.
• Contribute to patient health records per guidelines and legal requirements.
• Ensure Infection Control guidelines are met including cleaning of equipment/toys.
• Undertake administrative duties for the Community Hearing Screening Service.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of information packages and resources under an Audiologist.
