Job summary

Metro North Allied Health is offering temporary full-time and part-time opportunities in Brisbane for an Allied Health Assistant. You will support Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in community and COH settings, assisting with therapy delivery and preparation of treatment areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver delegated therapy interventions under supervision by allied health professionals.
• Support therapy programs designed by allied health clinicians.
• Assist in day-to-day delivery of allied health services within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of allied health professionals.
• Support therapy programs designed by relevant allied health clinicians.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of allied health services across the multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment, resources and spaces are ready for clinical use.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming clinical environment in line with infection prevention and workplace safety standards.
