Metro North Health invites applications for Allied Health Assistant roles, providing support to Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists across community, subacute care units and residential facilities.

Temporary full time and part time opportunities are available to contribute to safe, high-quality allied health services in community and oral health settings, with strong infection prevention and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary allied health support experience preferred.
• Ability to follow direction of clinicians and work in a team.
• Strong infection prevention and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Deliver delegated therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of allied health professionals.
• Support therapy programs designed by relevant allied health clinicians.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of allied health services across the multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment, resources and therapy spaces are ready for clinical use.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming clinical environment in line with infection prevention and workplace safety standards.
