Job summary

Jobtailor in Sydney seeks a hands-on Regional Growth Lead to drive the local expansion strategy. You will own the growth plan, field- based activities, and partnerships with restaurants, ghost kitchens, and delivery partners to achieve revenue and activation targets.

You will recruit and onboard couriers, coordinate rack distribution and logistics, and represent the company in community events and local channels.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Sydney and available for regular in-person field work across the region.
• Experience in field growth, community engagement, partnerships, or similar hands-on roles.
• Comfort spending substantial time in the field, traveling locally, and managing rack distribution and events.
• Commercial mindset with data-informed approach and focus on regional revenue outcomes.
• Strong relationship-building skills with delivery couriers and local partners.
• Excellent organization across events, inventory, follow-ups, and multi-workstreams.

Job description

• Own and execute the regional growth plan
• Deliver agreed regional revenue, customer growth, activation, retention, and rack-adoption goals
• Recruit and onboard delivery couriers and explain the Commercial Delivery offer
• Help new customers become active successfully
• Coordinate and personally support rack distribution, delivery and pickup logistics, inventory tracking, and rack-use guidance
• Meet couriers in the field at delivery hubs, ghost kitchens, community gathering points, and other high-potential locations
• Build relationships with local restaurants, ghost kitchens, delivery partners, community organizations, and other growth partners
• Plan and run community events, field activations, referral initiatives, promotions, and educational sessions
• Maintain an active presence in approved community channels and answer local questions
• Connect customers to the Customer Success team when centralized support is required
• Identify barriers to adoption and promising locations for racks, battery swaps, or other infrastructure
• Gather structured feedback and provide recommendations to Product, Operations, and the Commercial Delivery team
• Track regional performance, explain progress and risks, and adjust field plans based on data and community insight

Requirements

• Must be based in Sydney and available for regular in-person field work across the region
• Demonstrated experience in field growth, community engagement, partnerships, local operations, field marketing, or a similarly hands-on role
• Comfort spending substantial time in the field, traveling locally, and taking an active role in rack distribution and event logistics
• Commercial and data-informed mindset, with motivation to own measurable regional revenue and growth outcomes
• Strong relationship-building skills and credibility with delivery couriers and local partners
• Excellent organization across events, inventory, follow-ups, community communications, and multiple active workstreams
• Practical, entrepreneurial working style and ability to operate independently in an early-stage program
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Professional fluency in English
• Professional fluency in Mandarin preferred, not required
• Direct experience as a delivery courier or working with courier, gig-economy, micromobility, restaurant, or last-mile delivery communities preferred
• Existing relationships within Sydney’s delivery, restaurant, or courier ecosystem preferred
• Availability for a 12-month fixed-term employment arrangement
• Ability to work hybrid from Sydney
