Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Community Giving Manager to lead its fundraising strategy and grow revenue across individual giving, major gifts, grants, bequests, and community programs in Gippsland. Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in philanthropy, fundraising, marketing, communications, business or a related discipline, and/or significant experience delivering fundraising outcomes.
  • Proven success in growing revenue through fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships or community investment.
  • Strong leadership capability, including experience developing, supporting and motivating staff or contributors to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Provide strategic oversight of the LRH Community Op Shop, ensuring sustainable income generation and alignment with fundraising objectives.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Community Giving Manager to join our growing on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.

  • HS6 Classification - $113,700 + Salary Packaging + Super

The Community Giving Manager leads the implementation of LRH's Fundraising Strategy growing community investment, philanthropy and donor engagement to support patient care, innovation, research and service improvements across Gippsland.

With a number of exciting projects and initiatives on the horizon, this is an opportunity to build the relationship and support that help bring them to life - contributing to work that improves the health and wellbeing of Gippslanders.

The role will grow and diversify revenue streams through individual giving, major gifts, grants, trusts, bequests, community fundraising and social enterprise activities.

Specialist mentoring is available if required, with the opportunity to put your own stamp on this newly created role.

The role of Community Giving Manager is to:

  • Lead the implementation of Latrobe Regional Health's Fundraising Strategy, driving income growth and diversification across multiple fundraising streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, businesses, philanthropic organisations, community groups and funding partners to increase community investment.
  • Develop and manage fundraising initiatives including appeals, donor programs, grants, bequests, community fundraising and major gift opportunities.
  • Oversee donor stewardship, engagement and communications to strengthen supporter retention and showcase the impact of philanthropy.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the LRH Community Op Shop, ensuring sustainable income generation and alignment with fundraising objectives.
  • Monitor performance, manage risks, support governance requirements and utilise CRM and fundraising systems to drive informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in philanthropy, fundraising, marketing, communications, business or a related discipline, and/or significant experience delivering fundraising outcomes.
  • Proven success in growing revenue through fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships or community investment.
  • Strong leadership capability, including experience developing, supporting and motivating staff or contributors to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to community impact, innovation and continuous improvement, with the ability to use data and insights to inform fundraising decisions.
