Job summary

Doctors of Northcote (DoN) in Melbourne is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our community-focused GP clinic. You will perform health assessments, wound care, immunisations, and assist GPs with procedures, contributing to high-quality patient-centred care.

The role suits someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, delivering health education, and working in a welcoming, multidisciplinary team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an enrolled/registered nurse.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a nurse.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Interest in preventative health care and GP nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Italian language skills are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive health assessments and document patient information.
• Administering immunisations and wound care.
• Assisting GPs with procedures and iron infusions.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to support patient care.
• Triage and prioritisation of urgent presentations.
