Job summary

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is partnering with Sydney Water to deliver a $34 billion program of works. We seek a proactive communications specialist to lead community engagement for major infrastructure projects in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, community engagement or public relations.
• Strong written communication with audience-focused content.
• Experience with social media and digital platforms.
• Background in infrastructure, government or similar industries.
• Excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation.
• Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
• Current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication and community engagement plans for major infrastructure projects.
• Create engaging content across social media, digital channels, presentations and community materials.
• Build relationships with residents, businesses, community groups and stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement activities, information sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage customer enquiries, complaints and feedback with timely responses.
• Work with project teams to identify risks and support positive outcomes.
• Monitor effectiveness and provide improvement recommendations.
• Support reputation management and promote the D4C and Sydney Water brands.
