Job summary

Murrumbidgee Irrigation is seeking a Customer Engagement Officer for a 2-year fixed term, based in Griffith, NSW. You will engage with customers, landholders and stakeholders, coordinating enquiries, complaints and project communications in a field and office setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Customer Engagement, Customer Service, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related discipline, or 5+ years' experience in a customer engagement role.
• Experience in Customer Engagement, Customer Services or similar industry
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication, engagement and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with records and case notes management.
• Ability to coordinate across business units to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer enquiries, engagement activities, applications and complaints.
• Assist in field and office delivery of the major infrastructure project.
• Maintain accurate customer records, case notes and action tracking.
• Support compliance requirements and project communications.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver positive customer outcomes.
