Job summary

Real Futures Pty is recruiting an Employment Consultant to lead and support participants toward sustainable employment within the AKG framework across Australia. You will assess barriers, source opportunities, and tailor job plans while building strong ties with local employers and education providers.

The role emphasizes client-centred service, collaboration with community organisations, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion within a respectful team culture.

Qualifications

• Have full working rights in Australia.
• Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Complete an Australia History Criminal Check.
• Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Support and understand clients' barriers and work to develop employment goals.
• Create and source employment opportunities.
• Help clients identify their skills and secure sustainable employment.
• Provide high-level customer service to clients, employers, and stakeholders.
• Create, tailor, and implement partnered job plans.
• Build relationships with local employers, registered training organisations and community organisations.
• Explain to employers the benefits and supports in hiring someone with a barrier/disability.
