Job summary

Local Council West Sydney seeks an experienced Ranger for a 3 month contract. You will patrol the Council’s environs to enforce compliance, manage unauthorized events, animal control, littering, and noise control to ensure community safety.

You will report to the Team Leader and promote a positive image of the Council in an efficient and courteous manner, collaborating with a diverse team. The contract may extend beyond three months.

Qualifications

• A Class C Driver's Licence is required.
• Certificate IV Local Government Governance is required.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Well-developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area.
• Patrol building sites and school zones.
• Response to animal attacks and noise complaints.
• Report other non-related parking matters to Council.
