Job summary

Local Council West Sydney seeks an experienced Ranger for a 3 month contract. You will patrol the Council’s environs to enforce compliance, manage unauthorized events, animal control, littering, and noise control to ensure community safety.

You will report to the Team Leader and promote a positive image of the Council in an efficient and courteous manner, collaborating with a diverse team. The contract may extend beyond three months.

Qualifications

• A Class C Driver's Licence is required.
• Certificate IV Local Government Governance is required.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Well-developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This reputable Local Council based in the West of Sydney is hunting for an experienced Ranger to play a pivotal part in their team. For the duration of a 3 month contract, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and promoting a positive image of Council in an efficient and courteous manner.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will actively patrol the Council’s environs to ensure general compliance. This includes managing unauthorized events, animal control, illegal dumping, noise control, littering, land use and more to ensure safety for the community.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A Class C Driver's Licence is required
