Job summary

HammondCare is seeking compassionate carers to support older clients at home across the Northern Beaches region. You will travel to clients’ homes in your own car and provide essential in-home care to help them live independently, with compensation for mileage and travel time.

The role requires a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Female applicants only are requested as a genuine occupational qualification in line with anti-discrimination legislation.

Qualifications

• You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to your own insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
• You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.

• Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing.
• Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning.
• Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping.

Frenchs Forest, Dee Why, Collaroy, Mona Vale, Terrey Hills, Berwora, Lindfield, Manly, Balgowlah, North Sydney, Cromer, Mosman and all over the Northern Sydney Region

To be successful in these roles, candidates must be able to travel to and between these suburbs in your own car to provide in‑home care and support.

About you

• You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused
• You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care
• You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to your own insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you
• You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
