Job summary

HammondCare International Ltd is seeking dedicated care assistants to support older adults in their homes across South West Sydney and the Southern Highlands. You will travel to client homes using your own car, earning an hourly rate with kilometre pay and travel time.

The role offers casual and permanent part-time positions, with full training provided. Prior experience is beneficial but not required, and flexibility is valued in this community-focused service.

About the Role

Casual and permanent part‑time opportunities across South West Sydney & Southern Highlands delivering practical care to older adults in their homes. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car, paid at $0.99 per kilometre plus paid travel time.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing; help with meal preparation and light housekeeping; transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping; assist with medication management; respond flexibly to changing client needs.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only, as per section 31(2h) of the Anti‑Discrimination Act 1977.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third‑Party Property Insurance).
• Proficiency in multiple languages such as Spanish or Italian preferred.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred; training provided for those not yet qualified.
• Previous experience in aged or community care desirable, though no experience is required.
