Job summary

HammondCare is seeking compassionate Carers to provide essential in-home care to older people across the Northern Beaches area of New South Wales. You will travel to clients' homes in your own car and will be paid 99c per kilometer plus paid travel time.

Key duties include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and medication assistance. A valid driver's license and access to insured car are required. Flexible shifts and thorough training provided.

Frenchs Forest, Dee Why, Collaroy, Mona Vale, Terrey Hills, Berowra, Lindfield, Manly, Balgowlah, North Sydney, Cromer, Mosman and all over the Northern Sydney Region

To be successful in these roles, candidates must be able to travel to and between these suburbs in your own car to provide in-home care and support.

About you

• You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused
• You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care
• You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to your own insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you
• You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
