Western Downs Regional Council is seeking a Community Activation Officer to plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of community programs, events, and initiatives across the region, enhancing connection and liveability. Working with the Community Activation & Events Coordinator, you will engage with community groups, stakeholders, and residents to inspire participation.

You will lead event teams, manage budgets, explore funding opportunities, and contribute to a vibrant, connected community

About The Role

As the Community Activation Officer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of community programs, events, and initiatives that enhance community connection, participation, and liveability across the region. Working closely with the Community Activation & Events Coordinator, you will take a proactive and innovative approach to engaging with community groups, stakeholders, and residents to develop and deliver initiatives that inspire participation and foster a strong sense of community.
