Peninsula Australia in Sydney is seeking a Communications & PR Specialist to amplify press coverage, manage key media relationships, and grow our ANZ profile from our Sydney office.

You will lead media activities, partner with business leaders to craft integrated content, and produce high-quality corporate materials that support brand visibility and strategic training initiatives. A 2+ year track record in PR or corporate communications is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality corporate content including press releases, op-eds, quotes, and case studies.
• Drive digital PR, website visibility, and backlink campaigns while managing social channels.
• Build strategic partnerships with industry bodies to grow ANZ presence.

Join a market-leading global brand as a Communications & PR Specialist in our Sydney office. This role is a critical pillar of our growth and marketing team, allowing you to amplify press coverage, own key media relationships, and expand our market presence across the ANZ region.

What will your day look like?

• Lead media relations activities end-to-end, managing everything from creative ideation to comprehensive post-coverage analysis and executive reporting.
• Partner with internal business leaders to extract insights and develop integrated content calendars across PR, CRM, SEO, and client-facing channels.
• Produce high-quality corporate content including press releases, op-eds, executive quotes, and case studies that drives brand visibility and supports LLM training initiatives.
• Drive digital PR, website organic visibility, and backlink acquisition campaigns while overseeing owned social media channels to achieve target growth KPIs.
• Build and maintain strategic commercial partnerships with industry peak bodies to expand the company's market presence across the ANZ region.

What we’re looking for?

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a dedicated corporate communications, PR, or growth marketing role.
• Proven commercial acumen with the ability to conduct comprehensive market and competitor research to drive data-informed communication strategies.
• Exceptional project management skills as an organised self-starter who can autonomously juggle multiple corporate priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A highly collaborative, adaptable work style with a strong "can-do" attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
