Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Commissioning Site Engineer (Process) to join the commissioning team for the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant in Perth. You will support commissioning, start-up, testing and handover of desalination systems, working with multi-disciplinary teams to meet design, safety and performance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in relevant field is required.
Experience commissioning or operating water treatment or desalination plants.
Ability to read PFDs, P&IDs and control philosophies; familiarity with SCADA/DCS.

Responsibilities

Develop working knowledge of assigned process systems and control logic.
Support safe execution of commissioning activities to specification and procedure.
Collaborate with operators and M/E&I teams to ensure readiness.
Conduct system walkdowns, punch listings and completion verification.
Assist with loop checks and cause‑and‑effect testing.
Contribute to handover of systems to operations.
Apply HSSE standards including PTW and risk assessments.
