Job summary

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is seeking passionate Commis Chefs to join our kitchen brigade on a full-time and casual basis, delivering dishes in a fast-paced 5-star setting with river views.

Minimum two years' experience, culinary degree preferred, and strong knowledge of safe kitchen practices; benefits include career development and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Degree from internationally recognised culinary institution preferred.
• Knowledge of safe kitchen practices and kitchen regulations (Food & Beverage).

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and following menu directions; adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a grill, oven or fryer as required.
