Delaware North Australia is recruiting casual Commis Chefs for Melbourne Airport. You will work with senior chefs to prepare and present dishes, contributing to a fast-paced, quality-focused kitchen.

Ideal candidates have prior Commis Chef experience, a Level 3 Cookery certificate, and the flexibility to rotate shifts including mornings and dinners. Training and development are provided in a global hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Commis Chef experience, required.
• Solid background in kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labour costs.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early morning breakfast shifts and evening dinner service, is essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting.
• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards.
• Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
