The Langham, Gold Coast, part of Langham Hospitality Group, is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to deliver a memorable five‑star dining experience in our dynamic 26 & Sunny cafe. You will refine techniques while contributing to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced kitchen.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or culinary training, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Australian work rights are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of the latest trends in the Industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative with an eye for detail and a flair for presentation.
• Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high quality a la carte dishes to five-star standards.
• Work collaboratively within a friendly, fast paced, professional kitchen environment.
• Support Senior Chefs in daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Maintain consistency, presentation and flavour across all dishes.
• Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
