Workers Hubertus is seeking a skilled Commis Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team, reporting to the Senior Chef de Partie. This part-time role offers hours across Wednesday to Sunday in a fast-paced hospitality setting, with a focus on quality and teamwork.

You will work with the wider kitchen team, ensuring high-standard food preparation, presentation and compliance with food safety practices, while maintaining an organised workspace and supporting overall kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef / Cook in a similar professional kitchen role.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Commis Chef essential)
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and teamwork.
• Roster days Wednesday to Sunday including mix of days, evenings, weekends and some public holidays (up to 37 hours per week).
• Own transport (essential)

Workers Hubertuslocated next to the new Western Sydney International Airport in Luddenham, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef / Cookto join our kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Chef de Partie, you will be working with the wider kitchen team , ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard while maintaining food safety, cleanliness and efficient kitchen operations. Part time role working min 8 hours a week up to 37 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Chef de Partie and kitchen team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef / Cook in a similar professional kitchen role (desirable 1 years experience)
• Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Commis Chef essential)
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices
• The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
• Able to work a roster days between Wednesday to Sunday including mix of days, evenings, weekends and some public holidays as required (max 37 hours per week)
• Own transport (essential)
