Job summary

Lucas Collective is seeking a driven Commis Chef to join its Baby Pizza team on-site at the Church Street, Richmond venue. You will contribute to delivering authentic Italian dishes, follow proven recipes, and work with a fast-paced kitchen crew.

The role suits passionate culinary professionals ready to grow in a supportive culture. You must have commercial kitchen experience, knife skills, and a willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to effectively follow instructions and absorb new information.
• Italian cuisine experience highly regarded.
• Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items.
• Foundation knife skills and understanding of basic cookery terms and techniques.
• Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods.
• Calm and composed demeanor.
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
