Job summary

Mercure Sydney Blacktown is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part Time Commis Chef to join our team of hospitality professionals. You will work mainly the breakfast shift, preparing and serving food for the hotel buffet breakfast and for our all-day dining menu and Distrikt Cafe.

This role offers hands-on kitchen experience in a busy hotel environment, with opportunities to develop breakfast service skills and contribute to guest satisfaction across buffet and cafe outlets.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership and operation of the kitchen including breakfast service whilst on shift.
• Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality are maintained.
• Preparing, cooking and serving breakfast for the hotel buffet
• Preparing food for Distrikt Cafe and our all-day dining menu
• Assisting with group dinners as required
• Develop and maintain strong relationships
