Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking a Commercial Officer on a fixed-term full-time basis to support the commercial team on major infrastructure projects. The role focuses on contract administration, payments under a PPP contract, procurement, and financial reporting.

You will manage the contract payments, maintain records, and assist with change control and briefing notes, ending 30 June 2028. Suitable candidates will have strong administration skills and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Administration experience with high attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to work in a team and be accountable.
• Discretion and confidentiality when liaising with stakeholders.
• Background in project management, engineering, finance, business, or law is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract management support to the commercial team.
• Administer payments under a PPP contract.
• Assist in procurement, financial management and reporting.
• Maintain registers and Teambinder administration.
• Draft change control papers, modification notices and briefing notes.
