Qualifications

• Prior adjusting or property claims experience.
• Willing to study or hold a professional qualification recognized by ANZIIF.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Passionate about customer service, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Assess claims through on-site visits using Sedgwick’s commercial process, systems and technologies.
• Manage a portfolio of claims from initial advice to settlement, following Sedgwick’s policies and procedures.
• Investigate the cause and extent of loss, ensuring efficiency and a customer-focused approach.
• Determine if the loss falls within the insurance policy's terms and conditions.
• Deliver loss-adjusting services that meet or exceed client service standards.
• Provide proactive communication with clients and customers on initial findings and potential solutions.
• Calculate repair and/or replacement costs (reserve).
